The Dutch Music Collection Foundation (DMCF) is an organization dedicated to producing innovative, multidisciplinary performing arts. We create and realize high-quality projects in which music is combined with art forms such as film, design, animation, light installation, fashion, dance, and visual arts.
At the core of our work is the development of new repertoire, with a particular focus on expanding the possibilities of percussion. DMCF commissions international composers and fosters the creation of new musical languages and instruments, thereby enriching the contemporary music landscape and increasing its international visibility.
Within our productions, we actively create space for the next generation: master’s students and recently graduated composers and percussionists are given the opportunity to develop artistically and take their first professional steps. By involving them directly in large-scale productions, we connect talent development with high-level artistic creation.
DMCF initiates, produces, and presents projects that transcend disciplinary boundaries and engage a broad audience — with the aim of shaping the future of contemporary music and performing arts.
